Sriperambadur was my last stop before I flew back home from Chennai. Once home, tests revealed it was indeed Dengue and I was advised immediate hospitalization because of my condition. It took more than a month to fully recover.

For Mussorie, one would take the normal route via Meerut, Muzzaffarnagar but our driver was special and he wanted us to not only savor the beauties of Mussorie but en route he intended to show us the barren landscapes of U.P. Had it not been for the book, Outlook Traveller Gateways (on HP), Naggar would not have happened. Books are still much much superior as compared to host of blogs and websites. Online forums, at best, are good for an “occasional tip” and that too happens cause people speak about the content which is quite recent. Books need to re-published. It was my friend’s birthday, and surely we were all happy, hoping that we will surely get a treat. Every time, it was the same old boring story going in a hotel and just a dinner. But this time, we wanted to do something different. One of us came up with the plan to enjoy in a water park mainly because we wanted to beat the Delhi Heat.
Splash Water Park is located on the GT Karnal road – NH-1 . It is near Palla Mode, Alipur, Delhi. Splash is a unit of Sagu Dreamland Pvt. Ltd. It is really a very good amusement park nestled in natural beauty with a backdrop of cooling shelter of trees.

I confess. I did pat on my back for having made the road trip plan, in my car, and not tied it up via air / rail transports.

So our set of chun-chun chidiyas ranging from three kids aged between 4-6, two drivers (one bulky with a social sense of humor while the other a rather snappy, both middle-aged), a calm doc and two vocal ladies, topping with a college-going engineer made the band a wholesome.
