Read MoreBangalore, the IT city is the capital of state of Karnataka in India and is considered the fifth biggest metro town after Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. Kannada is the local language but Hindi and English works pretty well. Boasting of moderate weather throughout the year, one can visit and see Bannergheta National Park, Nandi Hills, Lal Bagh Park, Vidhan Soudha, HAL Museum as the local attractions. The famous M.G.Road is a great place to unwind in the evening with pubs and a very active night life. Connected with all the major cities of India, Bangalore is on international aviation map as well and has one of the better international airports of the country. The local traffic though can be a deterrent so local excursions needs to be planned well.

I had first seen it almost thirty years ago as a watercolour in my plant book and never imagined I would ever see it for real. Here they are, green-blue clusters of flowers in all their glory.
