However I recently went back to Mumbai, via Pune for the Ganpathy celebration and to meet my grand-daughter who is in college in Pune.After spending a day in Pune with her we went on to Mumbai by bus,and spen a day revisiting Juhu Beach, sea food joint Mahesh for lobsters and crabs and beer.Then wandered around aimlessly in coffe bars and back to Delhi after a day as my grand-daughter had to go back to her college in Pune.

Around 17 km from Kolhapur is Kaneri Math. To reach there one has to travel roughly 12 Kms on the Bangalore Highway (NH4) and take right from Gokul Shirgaon Junction. From here, we drove for 4-5 km on a semi-developed road leading to Kaneri village. There is ample space for parking. The Math houses a Shiva temple and a large Shiva statue. The attraction here is the Siddhagiri Gramjivan Wax Museum.

Had it not been for the book, Outlook Traveller Gateways (on HP), Naggar would not have happened. Books are still much much superior as compared to host of blogs and websites. Online forums, at best, are good for an “occasional tip” and that too happens cause people speak about the content which is quite recent. Books need to re-published.
