Read MoreIt was 11.00 a.m on a cool Sunday morning and i was trying not to get out of the bed on the only off day i had during the week. Soon, Adhiraaj woke up and we resumed our ‘What to do’ discussion from the previous night. It was almost a year and a half for both of us, living in Noida and apart from visiting Chandani Chowk ( Prantha Wali Gali), we didn’t go to any other place. So we decided on visiting Qutub Minar later that day and Humayun Tomb, Lotus Temple on the next weekend.

Culture Gully is an air-conditioned boulevard spread across 90,000 sq. feet was opened in July 2010. the entrance to the indoor boulevard is through a 20ft gateway, made with Golden lotus petals sparkling with tiny mirrors. Here you can see the blend of all cultures under one roof. There are theme restaurants from 14 states of India (Assam , Sikkim, West Bengal, ,Kerala, Delhi, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Chennai, Goa, Mumbai, Lucknow, Kashmir and Rajasthan & Karnataka). Apart from the Local Cuisine one can enjoy the traditional Handicrafts & street performance by Artists.
It was my friend’s birthday, and surely we were all happy, hoping that we will surely get a treat. Every time, it was the same old boring story going in a hotel and just a dinner. But this time, we wanted to do something different. One of us came up with the plan to enjoy in a water park mainly because we wanted to beat the Delhi Heat.
Splash Water Park is located on the GT Karnal road – NH-1 . It is near Palla Mode, Alipur, Delhi. Splash is a unit of Sagu Dreamland Pvt. Ltd. It is really a very good amusement park nestled in natural beauty with a backdrop of cooling shelter of trees.
I was on a hurricane trip of Delhi. I had heard of Garden of five senses many times and so wanted to see it.
Mr Mahesh Semwal has already described it beautifully with plenty of photos and its very good plus points. I am not going to repeat since I agree with him on most of them but here I present another view of the garden.
The Qutab Minar is one of the historic monuments listed in a UNESCO World heritage Site situated at Mehrauli – South Delhi was constructed in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din-Aibak , Viceroy & General in Mohammad Ghori of Ghazni’s army to mark their victory over Delhi . It is an excellent example of Indo-Islamic architecture. The Qutub Minar has beautiful calligraphy in Arabic. There are many carvings as well on the Qutub Minar. Qutab Minar is tallest brick minaret in the world inspired by the minaret of Jam in Afghanistan.

Tiger Hill is a place where you can see amazing sunrise of early morning. Thepeaks of Kanchenjunga brighten when sun is going to rise. As the sun rises, the peaks rapidly changes color. It is an amazing experience when you see the dawn light break over the Himalayan horizon including Everest.
