जंगल में रास्ते तो थे नही…गाडियों के टायर से बनी जगह इतनी उबड़ खाबड़ होती थी उस पर तेज़ चलना संभव नही था फिर दिन दिन भर खुली छत से खड़े हुए देखना आखिर थका देता है…कभी किसी पेड़ की डाल पे बैठा तेंदुआ तो कही झाड़ियो में शेरो का परिवार…अचानक कही से जिराफ या जेब्रा का दौड़ते हुए निकल जाना….लग रहा था की कोई नेशनल जियोग्राफिक या एनिमल प्लेनेट टीवी देख रहे है…विश्वास नही हो रहा था की ये सब नज़रो के सामने घटित हो रहा है।

We stayed in ‘Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam’ thingie . Average property, badly maintained, amazing location, ok priced. Rooms are old and sort of dingy but overall clean. Nice, friendly staff. There are some other places which are definitely worth more like ‘FRH’ but its little difficult to find out more about them.

Kemmangundi – A misty experience

Z-point is about 8 kms from the guest house. You can take your vehicle upto Shanti Falls, which is 2 odd kms from the guest house. The rest of the journey to the Z-point has to be covered by foot. Make sure you have good shoes (Chappals are a strict no-no) as the path gets tougher and trickier as u ascend. Its also a good idea to do this trek early in the day when there is lot of light and remember, it gets dark in the hills sooner.:-)

राम नगर, उत्तराखंड की यात्रा !

तय कार्यक्रम के अनुसार हम तीनों ने अगले दिन गुरुवार को सुबह गार्जिया देवी के मंदिर जाने के लिए अपनी गाड़ी स्टार्ट की और आधे घंटे के भीतर हमने 10 किलोमीटर का सफ़र पूरा किया और सीधे मंदिर की पार्किंग मे जाकर गाड़ी पार्क कर दी! राम नगर से माता का मंदिर 10 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है और रास्ता इतना मनोरम है की पूछिए ही मत! लगता है की किसी सुंदर वाटिका मे आ गये हैं!
