Tirthan valley, a place to find god within himself/herself.

I wanted to go somewhere during my daughter summer holiday. Daughter summer holiday was just an excuse I am travel freak and love to travel and explore places/

I discussed many places with our friends and finally we decided to go to Tirthan valley ,30 km away from Kullu tunnel. Actually, for Manali you have to go to left inside the tunnel and for Tirthan valley you go straight. Road is quite good not bad. We have already booked Gone fishing cottage . Really nice property. Property itself is very natural. Ms. Dimpal own this property she gave warm welcome to us . There is two floors in each cottages . We selected ground floor which was very nice and cool even from outside without AC. This Cottage is surrounded by hills and greenery and just 500 meter away from fresh water stream. I took cold bath and enjoyed stream. It was totally fresh water you can even see pebbles inside water.

I was enjoying my music and my Daughter was busy with three pet dogs from resort. They were very friendly. 

Peace of mind was the only thing which I got from there, mean to find god within himself. 

There is one place near by just 25 km away from cottage ,which is called  Jalori Pass . This is very nice place, you can go for camping here. You can see Mahakali temple at Jalori pass.

Now comes the most exciting place for me. Serolsar lake is one of the most beautiful lake situated in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. This lake is situated in the center of dense forest of jalori pass and is among the top places to visit in Banjar valley. Believe me guys its the best place to enjoy nature’s peace. In order to reach this magnificent lake one need to start trekking from the road itself near the temple. Before starting your trek keep yourself equipped with plenty of water and some snacks because you will not get any other shop on your way.

The trek is about 2 hours 5KM from jalori pass to Serolsar lake. Camping can also be a great idea if you love camping but for that you need to carry all your equipment. The trek to the lake is full of beautiful and huge trees casting their shadow on the dry leaves adding to the contrast of the nature. So if you are planning a trip to jalori pass always keep this place on your mind and never ever skip it.

Next day we visited to Manikaran Saheb (Gurudwar) around 3 Hours journey from Tirthan. Again very cool place and  surrounded by lush green and stream flowing just below Gurudwara. You can feel god there and some positive energy. You can take hot spring bath at Gurudwara which is again very refreshing from long drive. We took Langar inside Gurudwara which was again very delicious and God Prasad.
