Kolkata to Kumayon- at the holy city Varanasi

By

We started at 0700 hrs from Lucknow, had our mobile breakfast on the way keeping in mind to cover the distance of 314 kms to Varanasi within midday or a bit more to enjoy the essence of the holy city “Varanasi”, as we only scheduled there for only a day. I purposely avoided the NH 30 and NH 19, which went through Allahabad, remembered the situation while we started through Allahabad in the beginning, though there was no special cause of traffic jam that time but didn’t take the risk.Hence took the NH 30 and to NH 31 after Raeberilley from “Modhupuri”. It took the clock 6 hours to stuck 1300 hrs when we reached at Varanasi.

Richest company   turns into Bankruptcy. I was so sad after seeing the documentary. First Topkapi Palace was a palace, but now it’s a museum. If you go to the Topkapi Palace, you can know how they used to live? How their kitchen was? You can also see their arms, some jewellery what they used to wear.
There’s also really good sea view from there. We had also gone to a garden in Topkapi Palace. We saw a really beautiful rose flower there.

Delhi to Ramgarh, Mukteshwar

Incidentally, when we left our home for hills, there was sadly red alert on one TV channel announcing heavy rains and land slides in Uttrakhand in the next 48 hours. While my wife wanted to cancel the trip, I and Neerja pursuaded her to take a chance. Throughout our stay, the sky remained heavely overcasted with high probability of rains. Though I love rains and more than that the smell of hot pakoras and steaming mugs of tea, along with refreshing breeze and lurking fears of land slides. Luckily there were no rains till we arrived back home with renewed synergy.

As we had to cover less than 100 kms, so we started little late after breakfast at 0900 hrs. Though I had to face the same huddled road of Munsiyari but the situation was little different then as most of the patches were there while we climbed the road so keeping in mind that those would be on the slope I feel little relaxed and we started again from Munsiyari.
