The best thing one could do is to spend time at the beach. To access beaches, one has to travel to Panambur beach (20 kms) or Ullal beach (13 km). To reach Ullal beach , take the Mangalore-Kasargod road and look out for the board for Ullal beach. This is also called Someshwara beach. The waves lashing out at the rocks in Ullal beach makes a good treat for the eyes.

After lots of shopping, we returned to our hotel for lunch. Checked out from our rooms, kept the luggage at the hotel lobby and had lunch. Post lunch, all of us went to the beach for one last time. It was so wonderful to see the shimmering waters of the Bay of Bengal.

At the evening we were suppose to get ready by 7:00 to get to Greenix Village for Farewell Dinner. This was an exciting evening where we experiences, Indian Martial Arts, Traditional Keralan theater and Kathakali, an Indian Dance Drama noted for the attractive makeup of characters, elaborated costumes, detailed gestures and well defined body movements presented in the tune with music and percussion.

The last day of the trip was more on the roads. We had to cover all the distance of around 300 KM’s back to Pune. In the return journey, We visited the Raigad fort of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is really a great place holding many religious sentiments !!

The second day of the trip had lot of adventure stored for us, we did paragliding, rock climbing and rappelling, swim in the lovely sea waters. Also, were amazed to see the eye catching malkham performances by players as a part of the beach festival. It was a lot more than expected and we had a wonderful time.

Actually, there was a holiday clubbed with Saturday and Sunday in the second week of August. So we got three days, I planned to take one more leave which will make it four days for the whole trip.
