The actual cremation ground is a bit away and I didn’t go there this time. The area has lots of temples built by many countries which practice Buddhism. There are good hotels as well, including Taj and I clearly remember that there were internet kiosks five year back.

It was a pleasure driving on this road. I counted 57 vehicles while going towards Lucknow on this expressway which means a lot of people are still unaware of it. I tried to maintain a consistent speed of 120 kmph on this road, but to my surprise I found I was driving at 130-135 kmph. There is very little noise while driving on this road. I encountered total 4 small diversions (diversion means when you have to drive on the wrong side of the expressway).

When you will reach Temple, you can see people doing arti at Temple gate, as inside of Temple was quite crowded. Then everyone was entering inside through bit random queue, Priests were throwing colors on crowd, even everyone was throwing colors inside temple to show their happiness in celebrating holi with Lord Krishna, It’s an unbelievable experience to be a part of this event. When you are there you can’t see everything but just feel the blessing of that divine environment.

सुबह सुबह साड़े पांच बजे नींद खुल गयी एवं पत्नी का मूड एक बार फिर ताज देखने का हुआ…हलकी ठण्ड में पैदल ही पहुच गये और आश्चर्यचकित हो के देखते क्या है की सिर्फ हम गिने चुने दो चार भारतीय थे और लगभग पांच सात सौ की संख्या में विदेशी पर्यटक…हर देश के …कही से इंग्लिश भाषा सुनाई दे रही थी तो कही कोई गाइड स्पेनिश या जर्मन भाषा में इन पर्यटकों से बात कर रहा था…पता चला की लगभग सभी विदेशी सुबह ही यहाँ आते है भारतीय भीड़ से दूर और ये सुझाव उन्हें गाइड और होटल वाले देते है…पिछले दिन भी विदेशी पर्यटक काफी थे पर आज ऐसा लगा की हम लोग विदेश घुमने आये है …इतने अधिक विदेशी एक साथ एक ही जगह पे भारत में कही नही देखने को मिलते..

Aminabad is a huge market for embroidered chickan clothes, a specialty of Lucknow. The famous ‘Tunde ke Kabab’ is also located here. Some other interesting food items (dishes) which are famous in lucknow are Rahim-ke-kulche nihari, Bismillah-ki-biryani, Radhey-ki malai gilori and lassi, Raja-ki-thandai, Sharma-ki-chaat.
