We were enjoying our car ride on this wonderful route. Then after one hour or so our driver took a turn and we reached at one beautiful place. The place has beautiful landscape, water bodies, small reservoir and a small tea shop and Restroom. (What I remember the place name as Nature’s Resort (but unfortunately I am unable to find this place on internet). It’s a picturesque spot and one can actually enjoy by going into water as water level is very low here.Read More
A visit to this Museum is a delight for art lovers. Even if you are not interested then also you should visit it once. When ever you are visiting Salar Jung Museum make sure you must have at least 3 hours so that at least you can see the galleries (not in detailed although). The Museum is very big and you actually get tired walking inside all the galleries. But still it is worth watching. If you are visiting Hyderabad and not visiting Salar Jung Museum then your trip is incomplete.Read More
Before coming to Hyderabad I had done my homework on Hyderabad all thanks to Google. If you go through APTDC website it shows you around 63 sight seeing points at Hyderabad. So I was very much confused but sure on two points first was Golconda and second was Ramoji film city. We had taken help of our cousin to choose spots for us to visit in these 2 days. . Thus Friday’s point were Nehru Zoological park, Sudha Car Museum , Birla Temple, Hussain Sagar Lake and Golconda Fort. We started our visit at 1200 hrs and hired a cab as it was convenient as well as will help us in covering our planned points.Read More
So we entered in General coach. The train was full at 0715 hrs. First section was full of daily goers, some were reading news paper, few were sleeping and few were talking. There were few students also who were studying. The second section was full of ladies. I requested one of the ladies if she can shift and adjust us in one seat. They have shifted. So we got approximately 1.25 seat to accommodate 2.5 of us (me , my husband and my kid). Then I just turn around and was taking a glimpse of a train. It looked like as If I have rewinded my life and I had reached 10 years back when you are actually comfortable travelling in General coach. All beautiful ladies with beautiful bangles , nicely cladded saree or salwar suits , beautiful payal , toe rings etc etc. All were looking so beautiful and I was feeling jealous as my two gold bangles was nothing in front of colorful bangles. Being at Chennai Gold always means a lot here. But at Indore I was attracted towards those beautiful colorful glass bangles. Suddenly, I heard a song.

So after we had finished viewing our shows it was almost 1600 hrs and we had only 1.5 hour left with us to see the Gardens. So we quickly went to Bus stop to catch the bus. Again the guide in a bus was so good, so friendly with everyone, knows all three languages (English, Hindi and Telugu). But 1600 hrs bus timing is the last bus timings and you are not allowed to get down and see the gardens and the sets. There are approximately 120 gardens, so many beautiful fountains and so many readily available film sets like railway station ,airport , Foreign country , village, Hospital , Jail , Highway , streets , Raj darbaar etc.The guide was explaining us about all the gardens, sets, which all movie shot at RFCRead More
After Darshan we returned to our room and planned to go around the temple. At around 1800 hrs we decided to go around for tea/ coffee and some snacks. Unfortunately when we went around we could not find any restaurant where we can get something to eat as all were preparing for Dinner. Generally around 1900 hrs Dinners are available at all the restaurant. We have taken route from East side to South side and then to West side. One important thing is that there are number of Lodges and Dharamshala at East and South side.Read More
