I put on my eye gear, tied my hair tightly and let Ellis attach me to his harness. We were waiting for our pilot to sign us when we would reach theĀ 12,000 ftĀ mark and as he waived a Thumps upā€¦.Oh F***, we have to jump nowā€¦.NOWWWW!!!!!!ā€¦.we crawled our way to the entrance of the plane, I could see the Palm Jumeira view and he said Jumpā€¦.I bent my knees, jus couldnā€™t think anything and I jumpedā€¦.we both jumped together, the freefall was amazing, the cool air dashing my face. Was I flying?? Have I reached heaven???? Is this really happening??? Am I a bird???? Wait wait waitā€¦.I was so shocked by the whole experience, so stunned by the beautiful views of Atlantis and Palm Jumeira and the lovely infinite blue and green oceanā€¦..its just like a different worldā€¦.Mind blowing !!!!!

Ā Dune bashing as it is popularly known is sure to take onesā€™ breath away literally as the land cruisers glide through the gold sand dunes in great speeds climbing steep dunes and then suddenly nose diving down from the equally craggy dune top. Ā For a second though it would feel as if being the last minute on earth! One can hear all sorts of screams from fellow passengers holding on to their dear lives. A mind blowing 30 min drive comes to an end at the campsite located in the heart of the desert.
