After coming back to Bangalore at the end of December, I planned to go Goa for the New Year with my friends. I was very excited for this trip due to couple of reasons firstly I am going to see beach and sea for the first time in my life and second reason was very personal.
We started our journey on 29 Dec from my friend’s house. During late night most of us fall asleep. When I wake up it was early morning of the next day. We stop at a hotel for the tea and after drinking tea we took our seats and started our journey again.  Morning was very beautiful and cold. The road was surrounded by beautiful hills which were covered by trees and plants.

Before Goa border there is a beach in Karnataka called Karwar Beach. We all come down from our cab and headed towards the beach. As soon as I entered the gate of Karwar Beach, I saw the sea first time in my life. Far away in the horizon it looks like sea and sky are merging together. We stay on the beach for half an hour. But sad part was that we did not enter in the water due to lack of time. After taking some photos on the beach we started our journey for Goa.

Gokarna a small town located on Karnataka and South Goa boarder, famous for its beautiful beaches and landscapes. It is a town of four famous beaches, namely Kuddle Beach, Om Beach, Half moon Beach and Paradise Beach. One of the most famous beach “Om beach” is named so because of its Om like Shape. Gokarna is about 450 km from Bangalore and about 60 km from Karwar.

On Saturday morning when our eyes opened we come to know that our cab’s petrol pipe got leak on Shimoga highway, so we have to give halt to our journey until our driver do the arrangement for new pipe. But it was really very difficult to get new pipe early in the morning. As our driver was trying his luck for the pipe, most of the people were unaware what happen, because they were in deep sleep.

ॐ बीच पर बीती एक शाम और मुकेश के साथ जबरदस्त विवाद 

मैं शिरसी और सहस्रलिंग के दर्शन करके कुछ 2:00-2:30 बजे लौटा था। खाना खाते-खाते मुझे तीन बज गए, अब हमारी कर्णाटक की यात्रा के केवल 24 घंटे ही बचे थे। अगले दिन 4.00 बजे हमें कुम्ता पहुँचना था, जहाँ से हमें मुंबई के लिए ट्रेन पकडनी थी। तो अब मेरी कर्नाटक की यात्रा समाप्त होने जा रही थी। यात्रा के आखरी 24 घंटे मुझे अच्छे नहीं लगते, यात्रा शुरू करते वक्त बहुत उत्साह रहता है कि क्या-क्या करेंगे? कैसे घूमेंगे? आदि-आदि, लेकिन यात्रा के आखरी पल में मेरे मन में उदासी छा जाती है। ऊपर से रूम पर भी थोड़ी उदासी का माहौल था। मैंने आते ही सोनाली और मुकेश से पूछा कि कैसा रहा दिन? तो उन्होंने कहा कि बहुत बढ़िया रहा। उन्होंने पंडित द्वारा सुबह में श्री गोकर्ण महाबलेश्वर का अभिषेक किया और फिर मंदिर के सामने जो बीच है उसमे स्नान किया। मैंने कहा ठीक है चलो शिरसी और सहस्रलिंग नहीं आये तो मजा तो आया उनको। तब मैंने कहा कि चलो ॐ बीच चला जाये। चलो इस बार उन्होंने हाँ कहा तो मैं सीधे होटल से बाहर निकल गया और कार या ऑटो ढूँढने लगा। मुझे एक मारुती ओमनी वैन मिली जिसे मैंने 3-4 घंटे के लिए मात्र तीन सौ में बुक कर लिया। फिर हम चल दिए ओम बीच पर। हम कुल 20 मिनिट में ॐ बीच पहुँच गए। बीच पर जाने वाला मार्ग भी काफी सुन्दर है, पहाडों के ऊपर से होकर जाता है. मैंने एक जगह पर रूककर काफी तस्वीरे ली थी।
