This plan all started with a birthday treat. It was my friend’s birthday, and surely we were all happy, hoping that we will surely get a treat. Every time, it was the same old boring story going in a hotel and just a dinner. But this time, we wanted to do something different. One of us came up with the plan to enjoy in a water park mainly because we wanted to beat the Delhi Heat. The first destination that came to our minds was Fun N Food Village, but having visited it earlier, this time we thought why not Splash Water Park. We took a leave from our office, and then four of us planned the visit to this park. Actually it is the only water park in North Delhi .
Splash Water Park is located on the GT Karnal road – NH-1 . It is near Palla Mode, Alipur, Delhi. We were four in my car. We crossed the Bypass and turned left towards NH-1. From Bypass it is around 10-12 Km. After reaching there, we found that this water park in delhi was not as big as Fun N Food Village, Gurgaon, but still a quite decent one. Splash is a unit of Sagu Dreamland Pvt. Ltd. It is really a very good amusement park nestled in natural beauty with a backdrop of cooling shelter of trees.
The Splash Water Park Delhi ticket price was also cheap. It was Rs 350 per person (only for rides ) on weekdays. But we opted for the Rs 700 Ticket ( lunch , breakfast) also included. It has an ample parking space. When we entered, there were around 200 school students who were enjoying their picnic. But now it was our turn. There are two other branches of Splash Water park –
1. Joy Land – Which is at Shastra Dhara, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
2. Splash Fun Park – Which is at NH-65 at Barwala Road, Hisar
There are two sides in the Park. First we went to one side, where there was a swimming pool and a few other slides. Here there was also a Hall for Lunch. First we enjoyed a lot swimming in the pool for about one hour. In this water park, there is also a very big hotel named Retreat. One can also book rooms if they want to stay there.
Then we went to the other side of the park. This side has a few rides which are mainly enjoyed only by small children. This side has many slides. It also has a Lazy River. The rides include –
1. Sky Train
2. Mini Columbus
3. Striking Car
4. Cup Plate
5. Mini Train
6. Break Dance
8. Revolving Tower

This splash park has many slides which can be equally enjoyed by adults and children. After enjoying a lot in water, we were dead tired and we proceeded for lunch.
Other slides of this park include – Body Slide, H2O Slides 3 Curves, Hara Kari Slides, H2O Slides Straight Slide, Mushroom Slides, Family Slides, Octagonal Slides, Aqua Dance, Lazy River, Cyclone Slide, Multi-lane Slide, Turning Point Slide, Wave Pool and Waterfall. Actually there were quite a lot which we really enjoyed.
After enjoying the whole afternoon, in the evening we decided to leave. Back on our old NH-1. By this time it had started drizzling.
Really a great enjoyable day came to an end. Surely being there gave us some respite from this Delhi Heat. Splash Water Park in Delhi can really be a good option to spend your holiday specially with children and surely it is a stress buster leaving behind all the office worries. Truly it was a great fun filled day.
