About : Amit
Full Name Amit Gupta
I was born and brought up in Lucknow and went to St. Francis' College for my schooling. Currently, I am settled with my wife and 16-month-old daughter in Gurgaon. I work at NIIT Ltd as a Quality Manager. To take a break from tiring work schedules, I love to travel and photograph. Of all the places, mountains fascinate me the most and I dream of settling in the hills one day.
During my trips, I try to avoid the crowd and visit lesser known places. I love to go for long walks and discover new and interesting places. Some of the places I have been to include Mussoorie (losing count of the number of times I have visited it ;-)), Chail, Sikkim, and Jammu & Kashmir.
Ladakh, Bhutan, Egypt, Australia, Kenya are places that I would love to visit someday. By the way, I love writing as well and hopefully I’ll find time to keep contributing and sharing experiences from my trips with other ghumakkars! :)

Being the nature lover’s that we are, we first went for a walk on Camel’s Back road. Camel’s Back road is a long winding road frequented by nature lovers who visit this place for their morning and evening walks. Unlike the Mall road, this was a much better place. It was calm and the views of the Himalayas were breathtaking. As the skies were clear, the snow-capped peaks could be seen clearly. Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri are some of the peaks that are visible from Camel’s Back road.
